Souper Party and Sales

Soup Art

Supporting: Pearl Harbor Memorial Fund

We Raised $1000

The Arizona Memorial Museum Association (AMMA) has established the Pearl Harbor Memorial Fund to raise $50 million in capital improvement funds from public and private sources.  The funds will construct a new facility that will replace the USS Arizona Memorial’s current deteriorating and inadequate Museum and Visitor Center at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.

This new facility will house an expanded state-of-the-art museum, a new research and educational center with a library and teleconferencing facility, an outdoor amphitheater, movie theaters for education and visitor orientation, an expanded book shop, and improved visitor space and facilities.

The new facility will nearly double the size of the existing museum and reconstruct the visitor center.  The museum is designed to be the premiere repository of artifacts and information related to the Attack on Pearl Harbor and the War in the Pacific.

Our Activities

Souper Party: Saturday, April 10, 1pm-9pm: All you can eat soup, salad, bread, and homemade sorbet! Suggested donation to attend the Souper Party is $20 plus you can take a pint of soup home! Just a note, we will have soups to try that are not in the frozen soup sale. We will be showing a short information piece about the progress of the Memorial sent to us all the way from Hawaii!

Homemade Soup Sale: Suggested donation per pint is $5. All soups are homemade, and are frozen in pint containers.  Note: There are limited quantities of each flavor; order early! Download the order form here (Word or PDF). Or see below for flavors.

Online Fundraiser: If you would like to make a direct financial donation, you can do this at the Pearl Hearbor Memorial Fund website.  Tamiza would like to keep a tally (picture a giant thermometer), so please contact her to let her know how much you have generously donated, bastet44@usa.net.

Check: If you would like to donate by check, make it payable to Pearl Harbor Memorial Fund, and mail to Tamiza Teja, 5106 Merrill Street, Torrance, CA 90503.
