In recognition of D-Day

Supporting: Mighty Eighth Air Force Museum

We Raised $1040!

The Mighty Eighth Air Force Museum, in Pooler, GA (near Savannah) honors the men and women who helped defeat Nazi aggression by serving in or supporting the greatest air armada the world had ever seen–the 8th Air Force.

Andy's father, Edward Jacob Bogus, was a member of the Mighty Eighth Air Force when he served in the US Army Air Corps (later known as the US Air Force) during and after World War II. He serviced P-51 Mustangs in England (where he met Andy's mother, Billie). After the war, Edward serviced a number of aircraft including transports, and was medically discharged in 1954. Edward died in 1977 as a result of injuries sustained after the war.

Museum organizers pledge themselves to honor the courage and commitment of more than 350,000 members of the 8th Air Force.

We are fundraising to support the ongoing maintenance and development of the Museum. If you are ever in the Savannah area, we highly recommend that you stop and visit the Museum. You will definitely be moved by it.
