In recognition of
National Ice Cream Month

Supporting: Heifer International,
specifically a Milk Menagerie

WE RAISED $1240!

Heifer's mission is to work with communities to end hunger and poverty and to care for the earth.  Heifer does this by providing appropriate livestock, training and related services to small-scale farmers and communities worldwide.

The gift of a Milk Menagerie ($1000) represents a quality-breed heifer, two goats and a water buffalo - four milk-producing animals for hardworking families hoping to provide a better life for their children.  With training for recipient families, each animal in the Menagerie will produce gallon after gallon of wonderful, life-sustaining milk.

And as the families "pass on the gift" of offspring to neighbors in need, over time a Milk Menagerie will end hunger and despair one child, one family and one village at a time.

Our Activities

STILL ONGOING: Online Fundraiser: If you would like to make a direct financial donation, you can do this via the Gourmet Racing Team's Milk Menagerie page. You can donate an entire or share of a Menagerie, which consists of 1 heifer, 2 goats, and 1 water buffalo. Or you can choose to donate a whole or share of a heifer, goat or water buffalo.

Homemade Ice Cream Sale: You can purchase a pint of homemade ice cream, sorbet or frozen yogurt. Suggested donation per pint is $5. See below for flavors.

Ice Cream Social: All-you-can-eat ice cream, cake, fruit, etc. You will also receive 2 pints of ice cream to take with you. Suggested donation to attend the social is $20.
